Welcome to Okauchee Lake

This site is an educational and informational resource for all Okauchee Lake Management District residents as well as the general public. As you look around you will find useful information about Okauchee Lake.

The Okauchee Lake Management District was formed in 1975. The OLMD is governed by a Board of Commissioners, three of whom are elected by district electors to a three year term of office, and two of whom are appointed: one by the County and one by the Township. Monthly meetings are open to the public. Approved minutes for each meeting are published in the “Meetings – Agenda/Minutes” page of this website.

Lake Management Districts are special purpose units of government charged with maintaining, protecting, and improving the quality of the lake and it’s water shed.
